CAUTRY KNIFE
Electro-cautery is a surgical process in which the blade of a surgeon’s knife contains a current, heating the blade and cauterizing as it cuts the skin or other tissue. Cauterization causes the patient’s blood to coagulate so that there is little bleeding during surgery.
